Chef Shirlé Hale-Koslowski and Eleni Vlachos created an interesting food challenge for the Durham, North Carolina, dining scene - asking restaurants to add a vegan appetizer, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert to their menus for the month of October. Diners were then asked to try them out and vote for their favorite dishes online.
